I build apps and ship them. Right now that's LevelMate and Packliste, both on the App Store. I use AI to move fast, then do the finishing by hand, because the last 20 percent is where apps are won or lost. I make physical things too, not just software (3D printing, laser, mountain biking). German, building in the open.

How 10 emails 40x'd my app's downloads
Ten tailored emails led to two articles about Packliste. Then the app went from 21 App Units in June to 857 by July 20. Here is the chart, the caveat, and the tracking mistake I made.
Ich richte gerade in der Claude CLI einen Obsidian-MCP ein. Ich hoffe, dass Claude dadurch bei Bedarf auf verlinkte Notizen und frühere Entscheidungen zugreifen kann, statt dass Kontext mit jeder Session wieder neu erklärt werden muss.
LevelMate war meine erste App. Sie hilft beim Ausrichten eines Wohnwagens und entstand aus einem sehr konkreten Problem beim Camping: Man misst drinnen, steht draußen an der Kurbel und läuft ständig hin und her. LevelMate gibt per Sprache und Vibration Rückmeldung, welche Seite oder die Deichsel noch angehoben werden muss.
Ich habe die Arbeit an Kalvo wieder aufgenommen. Kalvo ist meine App für Rücklagen und Fixkosten. Den Release plane ich für August.
