About
Remo Adams
Indie app dev. Builds apps that take people seriously. Made with AI, finished by hand.
I build apps and ship them, then ship the next one. I use AI to move fast and do the finishing by hand, because the last 20 percent is where apps are won or lost.
Every app I make stays small and leaves you alone, with no ads and no tracking.
I make physical things too, not just software: 3D printing, laser cutting, mountain biking. German, building in the open.
What I stand for
I build apps that respect the people who use them, starting with their time, their attention, and their data. Clear over complicated, useful over intrusive.
- 01
Essentials over feature bloat
I add complexity only when it fixes a real problem that many people keep running into. A feature is not good just because someone asked for it. It has to earn its place in the app.
- 02
Design on purpose
Design is part of the solution, not a coat of paint at the end. Native components are a solid base, but an app should never look like standard parts dropped in without any thought.
- 03
Fair, honest pricing
I earn from my apps without selling your attention: no ads, no dark patterns, no fake urgency. A subscription only makes sense when it keeps paying you back, month after month.
- 04
The problem behind the request
Feedback points at a problem, and the best fix is rarely the first feature someone suggests. I want to know what actually breaks, for whom, and how often, before I build anything.
- 05
Measure the app, not the person
I want to know whether my apps work, not who you are. I keep only what helps me run them well, like crashes and performance, and leave out personal profiles and behavior tracking.
